Topics of Interest

Manycore system on chips (MCSoCs) design approaches have long been employed in various computing domains to best the performance and power limitations of the simple unicore design. As a result, several high-performance and low-power MCSoCs have been realized. However, to support emerging applications, MCSoC design approaches need to guarantee uncompromising and scalable performance with high energy efficiency for diverse workloads, while meeting several energy budgets amidst thermal and power delivery constraints. The topics of interest of the track include, but are not limited to:

  • Hardware specification
  • Hardware-Software-Codesign
  • Modeling
  • System-level design methodology and tools
  • Synthesis
  • Heterogeneous design flows
  • Low power simulation and analysis
  • Reliability and variability compensation
  • Design validation and verification
  • Thermal-aware design
  • Performance modeling
  • Security issues
  • Reconfigurable design
