Topics of Interest

With the increase in the number of transistors that can be integrated on a single chip, functionalities such as memories, CPU, and DSP can be integrated into a single silicon chip to realize a multicore system on chip (MCSoC). To support real-time applications which require the processing of streaming data, MCSoCs have to be designed to meet the requirements of such applications. The topics of interest of the track include, but are not limited to:

  • Memory/cache optimization
  • Interfacing and software issues
  • Distributed real-time systems
