{"id":9454,"date":"2025-09-03T01:59:59","date_gmt":"2025-09-03T01:59:59","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/mcsoc-forum.org\/site\/?page_id=9454"},"modified":"2025-09-03T02:04:17","modified_gmt":"2025-09-03T02:04:17","slug":"phd-symposium","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/mcsoc-forum.org\/site\/index.php\/phd-symposium\/","title":{"rendered":"PhD Symposium"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>The PhD Symposium of the 18th IEEE MCSoC 2025 invites submissions from doctoral students conducting research in the broad areas of <strong>Multicore\/Many-core Systems-on-Chip<\/strong>, including but not limited to:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Embedded and real-time systems<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Hardware\/software co-design<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>AI accelerators and neuromorphic architectures<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Reconfigurable computing and FPGA-based systems<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Secure and dependable SoC architectures<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Low-power and energy-efficient design<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Network-on-Chip (NoC) and interconnect technologies<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Edge computing and heterogeneous integration<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>We especially welcome submissions that explore <strong>innovative, impactful, and forward-looking approaches<\/strong> to the design, analysis, and deployment of multicore\/many-core systems across diverse application domains.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Benefits of Participating<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Present and discuss your ongoing research with an international community of experts in embedded systems and SoC design.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Receive constructive feedback from senior researchers and industry leaders.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Network with peers and mentors to foster future collaborations.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Selected papers may be invited for <strong>extended publication in IEEE Transactions<\/strong> associated with MCSoC.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Eligibility<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The PhD Symposium welcomes submissions from all PhD students.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Early-stage researchers<\/strong> should clearly articulate their research problem and proposed methodology.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Advanced-stage researchers<\/strong> are encouraged to present mature results and receive feedback to refine their contributions.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Submission Guidelines<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Submissions must be in <strong>PDF format<\/strong>, unpublished, and not under review elsewhere.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Papers must conform to the <strong>IEEE conference paper format<\/strong> and not exceed <strong>8 pages<\/strong>, including figures, references, and appendices.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Non-compliant or out-of-scope submissions will be rejected without review.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Include <strong>3\u20135 keywords<\/strong> at the end of the abstract to characterize your paper.<br><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>IEEE MCSoC 2025 follows a two-round paper submission process.
