The institute is located in the National Center of Sciences, which is a building almost in the center of Tokyo. You can go from Tokyo
Station to the Center by taxi in about 10 minutes. It is called "Gakujutsu Sogo Senta" in Japanese, and famous buildings, Josui Kaikan
and Gakushi Kaikan, are neighboring.
There are two subway stations near the Center. One is Jimbocho Station (S06/I10/Z07), whose A8 exit, located next to Shogakukan, Inc.,
is the closest to the Center. The other is Takebashi Station (T08), whose 1b exit, situated next to Mainichi Newspapers, is the nearest.

If you want to go from Narita Airport to the Center, a simple way is to use Narita Express to get to Tokyo Station and then to take a taxi
to the Center, which will cost you approximately 4,000 Yen in total.

An inexpensive but somewhat complicated way is to use Narita Sky Access Line (Access Express) or Keisei Main Line to get to
Higashi-nihombashi Station (A15) on Toei Asakusa Line and then to take Toei Shinjuku Line from Bakuro-yokoyama Station (S09) to
Jimbocho Station (S06), which will cost you around 1,200 yen.

You will need at least one and half an hour in both cases.
More accessible to NII is, however, to choose airliners arriving at Haneda airport. Keikyu Line brings you to Mita Station (A08) on Toei
Asakusa Line, and then you take Toei Mita Line to go to Jimbocho Station (I10). It takes around 45 minutes and costs you 550 yen.
Currently available routes are from London, Paris, Frankfurt, Dubai, New York, Los Angels, Seattle, San Fransisco, Honolulu and many
other airports in East Asia.
