Call For Tutorials

20th IEEE MCSoC 2027 - Tokyo, Japan, May 12-15, 2027

The IEEE MCSoC Forum is the world’s premier forum for researchers in embedded multicore and many‑core systems‑on‑chip design. The 20th IEEE MCSoC 2027 will be held at The University of Electro‑Communications, Tokyo, Japan, from May 12 to 15, 2027.

Participation in tutorials is an excellent opportunity for lifelong learning, and MCSoC 2027 is committed to supporting professional development. Suitable tutorial topics range from emerging research areas to established techniques of practical and industrial relevance within the scope of the MCSoC Forum.

Tutorial Proposal Submission Guidelines

The proposal should provide sufficient information for the Tutorial Chairs to evaluate the relevance, quality, and expected impact of the tutorial. Required information:

  • Tutorial Title and Abstract — a concise title and an abstract that clearly describes the tutorial topic, scope, and objectives.
  • Motivation and Expected Impact — why the topic is important to the MCSoC community and timely for attendees, and the expected benefits and learning outcomes for participants.
  • Tutorial Outline — a syllabus or outline of the tutorial, including main topics and approximate time allocation.
  • Speakers — all speakers and their affiliations; for multiple speakers, clearly indicate each speaker’s role and section.
  • Short Biography — a short professional biography for the main speaker (and optionally additional speakers), highlighting expertise and relevant track record.

Evaluation Criteria

Tutorial proposals will be evaluated based on:

  • Technical quality and relevance to the MCSoC community.
  • Timeliness and potential impact of the topic.
  • Educational value and expected benefit for attendees.
  • Expertise and experience of the speakers.
  • Clarity and completeness of the proposed tutorial structure.

Important Dates

  • Tutorial Proposal Deadline: March 1, 2027
  • Tutorial Proposal Acceptance Notification: March 31, 2027
  • Final Tutorial Slides Due: May 1, 2027
