Presentation Guidelines

20th IEEE MCSoC 2027 - Tokyo, Japan, May 12-15, 2027
Presentation Guidelines For Presenters

The conference will be conducted with both onsite and online participation. For smooth operation, all presentation slides and pre-recorded videos must be uploaded to EDAS in advance.

Upload deadline: April 30, 2027
⏱️ Each presentation: 10 min talk + 5 min Q&A (15 min total)
🏫 Onsite Presenters
  • Prepare your slides in PowerPoint or PDF format.
  • Onsite presenters are not required to upload a prerecorded video to EDAS, but must upload their .ppt or .pdf slides.
  • Bring a copy of your slides on a USB flash drive as backup.
  • Onsite equipment includes: projector, laser pointer, microphones, and a laptop with sound/video playback. Internet access is available.
  • The committee will prepare all presentations in advance by downloading them to the session laptops. Presenters must verify their slides on the session laptop before their talk.
⚠️ Onsite presenters are not permitted to use personal laptops, as the session laptop is dedicated to hosting Zoom.
Recommendation: Presenters are encouraged to use the version of slides uploaded to EDAS. Updated versions may be used if necessary, but this is not recommended as it may cause inconsistencies in session preparation.
💻 Online Presenters
  • Online presenters (interactive and non‑interactive) must upload their .ppt or .pdf slides to EDAS.
  • They must also upload a 10‑minute prerecorded video (MP4 or narrated PowerPoint).
  • Presentations will be delivered live via Zoom.
  • The session chair and room moderator will play the prerecorded video. The presenter must be online for Q&A.
Interactive vs. Non‑Interactive Online Presenters:
Interactive presenters join live for Q&A after their video.
Non‑interactive presenters provide slides and video only; no live Q&A.
⚠️ The non‑interactive mode is not recommended. Authors choosing this option must inform the committee in advance.
🗂️ Committee Preparation
The committee will download all presentation materials from EDAS and prepare them on the session laptops.

The session chair will introduce each speaker and coordinate playback for online presentations. Zoom links will be distributed prior to the conference.
🔒 Access to Uploaded Materials
Links to uploaded videos and slides on EDAS will not be public. They are accessible only to the session chairs and organizing committee.
IEEE No‑Show Policy Important
