
IEEE MCSoC Forum Awards for Research Excellence
The 19th IEEE MCSoC 2026 will recognize outstanding research contributions through a set of prestigious awards. A total of two Best Paper Awards, two Best Paper Runner-up Awards, and two Best Presentation Awards will be presented to honor excellence, innovation, and impactful scientific contributions.
Motivation for the Awards
As a flagship Computer event, the MCSoC Forum is committed to fostering global collaboration and advancing research in microelectronics, embedded multicore/many-core SoCs, and embedded AI. In line with the 2026 theme — Empowering Global Connections Through Microelectronics, Embedded Multicore SoCs, and Embedded AI — these awards celebrate authors whose work demonstrates originality, clarity, and technical impact.
Award Selection Criteria
- Best Paper Awards: Selected by the Best Paper Committee based on originality, relevance, technical soundness, writing quality, and presentation effectiveness.
- Best Presentation Awards: Determined through combined voting by Session Chairs and attendees. The top two presentations will be honored.
Best Presentation Award Requirements
To be eligible for the Best Presentation Awards, presenters must:
- Upload their re-recorded presentation video to EDAS.
- Agree to have their video uploaded to the MCSoC Forum YouTube Channel.
Award Package
Each recipient of a Best Paper or Best Presentation Award will receive a certificate and a cash prize of 100 USD. Onsite participants will receive a hard copy certificate and cash award; online participants will receive a digital certificate only.
