19th IEEE MCSoC 2026 – PhD Forum

The PhD Forum at the 19th IEEE MCSoC 2026 provides an excellent opportunity for doctoral students to present their ongoing research, receive constructive feedback from experts, and engage with the MCSoC community. The forum aims to foster interaction between PhD students and senior researchers in the fields of computer systems, architectures, multi/many‑core systems, AI accelerators, and emerging applications.

Eligibility

  • Applicants must be currently enrolled PhD students.
  • Research topics must be related to computer systems, architectures, multi/many‑core systems, AI accelerators, or emerging applications.
  • Both early‑stage and advanced‑stage PhD students are welcome.
  • Submissions must reflect ongoing research, not work already published at MCSoC 2026.

Submission Guidelines

Students are invited to submit a 2‑page extended abstract describing their research problem, motivation, methodology, preliminary results (if any), and future directions.

  • Maximum length: 2 pages (including figures and references)
  • Format: IEEE double‑column conference template
  • File type: PDF only
  • Submissions must be prepared by the student; advisors may be listed as co‑authors

Important Dates

  • Submission Deadline: June 30, 2026
  • Notification: July 31, 2026
  • Camera‑Ready: August 10, 2026
  • PhD Forum Event: December 14–17, 2026 (Shanghai, China)

Review Process

Submissions will be reviewed by the MCSoC 2026 PhD Forum Committee. Evaluation criteria include:

  • Clarity of problem statement and motivation
  • Novelty and significance of the research
  • Soundness of methodology
  • Potential impact on MCSoC‑related fields
  • Quality of writing and presentation

Accepted submissions will be presented during the PhD Forum session. Presentations may be in poster or short‑talk format.
