Similarity, Plagiarism, and Self-Plagiarism

Since IEEE MCSoC papers will be submitted to IEEE Xplore, all submitted content must comply with IEEE’s plagiarism policies. The conference uses the CrossCheck database via EDAS to screen all submissions for potential plagiarism.

Similarity Scores and Report Review

Similarity scores and scan reports are generated by an external provider, not the conference itself. Authors should carefully review their online similarity report to:

  • Understand how the score was determined
  • Identify sections that may need revision
To be eligible for IEEE Xplore publication: Total similarity rate must not exceed 30%.

The similarity score and report are provided only for the initial submission. Revised versions will not receive a new report from the conference.

Required Actions

If your manuscript includes content (text, figures, tables, etc.) from previously published sources, you must:

  • Remove, replace, rewrite, or redraw the material
  • Ensure compliance with IEEE standards based on your similarity report

Thank you for upholding the integrity and originality of your submission to the IEEE MCSoC Forum.
