Similarity, Plagiarism, and Self-Plagiarism

Since IEEE MCSoC 2025 papers will be submitted to IEEE Xplore, all submitted content must comply with IEEE’s plagiarism policies. The conference has access to the CrossCheck database via EDAS and screens all submissions for potential plagiarism.

Similarity Scores and Report Review
Similarity scores and scan reports are generated by an external provider, not the conference itself. Authors should carefully review their online similarity report to understand how the score was determined and identify sections that may need revision.

To ensure acceptance into IEEE Xplore, papers must adhere to the following similarity thresholds:

  • Overall similarity rate: Should not exceed 30%
  • Similarity to a single source: Should not exceed 10%

The provided similarity score and report serve as guidance for necessary manuscript revisions. The conference will not provide a score or report for revised versions.

Required Actions
If your manuscript contains content (text, figures, tables, etc.) from previously published sources, you must remove, replace, rewrite, or redraw the material to comply with IEEE standards (refer to your similarity report received with reviews).

Thank you for ensuring the integrity and originality of your submission.
