PhD Symposium

The PhD Symposium of the 18th IEEE MCSoC 2025 invites submissions from doctoral students conducting research in the broad areas of Multicore/Many-core Systems-on-Chip, including but not limited to:

  • Embedded and real-time systems
  • Hardware/software co-design
  • AI accelerators and neuromorphic architectures
  • Reconfigurable computing and FPGA-based systems
  • Secure and dependable SoC architectures
  • Low-power and energy-efficient design
  • Network-on-Chip (NoC) and interconnect technologies
  • Edge computing and heterogeneous integration

We especially welcome submissions that explore innovative, impactful, and forward-looking approaches to the design, analysis, and deployment of multicore/many-core systems across diverse application domains.

Benefits of Participating

  • Present and discuss your ongoing research with an international community of experts in embedded systems and SoC design.
  • Receive constructive feedback from senior researchers and industry leaders.
  • Network with peers and mentors to foster future collaborations.
  • Selected papers may be invited for extended publication in IEEE Transactions associated with MCSoC.

Eligibility

The PhD Symposium welcomes submissions from all PhD students.

  • Early-stage researchers should clearly articulate their research problem and proposed methodology.
  • Advanced-stage researchers are encouraged to present mature results and receive feedback to refine their contributions.

Submission Guidelines

  • Submissions must be in PDF format, unpublished, and not under review elsewhere.
  • Papers must conform to the IEEE conference paper format and not exceed 8 pages, including figures, references, and appendices.
  • Non-compliant or out-of-scope submissions will be rejected without review.
  • Include 3–5 keywords at the end of the abstract to characterize your paper.

IEEE MCSoC 2025 follows a two-round paper submission process. The first round has now concluded, and the second round of submissions is now open.
